Employee Resource Groups

AEP's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are open to any employee who is connected to or interested in learning more about a common aspect of diversity. All employees and AEP contractors are encouraged to participate.

These ERGs can:

  • Enhance AEP's desirability as a prospective employer
  • Foster interaction among employees
  • Help build awareness, respect, and inclusiveness in the workplace
  • Provide a forum for exchanging new ideas
  • Sponsor a variety of cultural, educational, developmental, and business-focused events
  • Strengthen communication between AEP's leaders and employees
  • Support AEP's values and goals
