Funds from the AEP Foundation on behalf of Appalachian Power Company will serve a double purpose for Princeton (WV) Rescue Squad, Inc. – building a state-of the-art space to train EMTs and paramedics that can also be used as a disaster relief center should the need arise.
In Columbus, Ohio, our charitable Foundation is helping the Columbus Police Foundation with a gift to create the Columbus Police Museum and Community Education Center. The goal is to inspire young visitors to join law enforcement and serve as a bridge to all neighborhoods in the community.
Our employees take a hands-on approach when it comes to supporting local chapters of national organizations like the American Red Cross by installing smoke alarms in the homes of the elderly and low-income residents. We also deliver meals to seniors and the home-bound and raise funds for countless other organizations like the United Way and the Salvation Army.
