AEP Ohio

Dear Friends,

At AEP Ohio, we take great pride in powering nearly 46,000 line miles throughout the communities we serve in Ohio. Our commitment extends far beyond the wires that stretch across our community, powering homes and businesses.

Some call it corporate citizenship, but to our team it’s simply doing what’s right. It’s hanging holiday lights at a youth shelter to lift the spirits of those living there. It’s a monetary donation to Nationwide Children’s Hospital to help families afford to stay near their children while undergoing treatment.

In 2018, grants from the American Electric Power Foundation allowed us to present more than $11 million to more than 120 organizations across Ohio. AEP Ohio and its employees also gave more than $193,000 to United Way in the communities we serve to ensure everyone has the resources they need to reach their fullest potential.

Giving is part of our culture, both inside and outside of the office. Whether employees are passing the love of their jobs to students or packing boxes for seniors at a foodbank, their selfless acts imprint onto the lives of others.

We’re sharing the following report with you to highlight our commitment to the communities we serve. When we work together, the opportunities to enrich the lives around us are boundless.

Sincerely,

Raja Sundararajan
President and Chief Operating Officer
AEP Ohio
