In Texas, Everything is Bigger
An economic powerhouse, the Lone Star state’s economy ranks 10th in the world, larger than countries like Australia and Russia. Texas’ economy is as diverse as it is big – each region, county and city has something unique to offer. We provide energy solutions and site location services to several of Texas’ thriving regions through two operating companies, AEP Texas and Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO).
AEP Texas delivers energy in South and West Texas, where unprecedented industrial and energy sector growth is fueled by direct access to oil and gas reserves and best-in-class transportation assets, such as ports to connect you to Mexico and beyond.
SWEPCO serves the North Texas and East Texas regions, a mecca for manufacturing, distribution and food processing operations looking for low-cost access to the Dallas-Fort Worth market, and robust interstate infrastructure.
