AEP Announces Webcast Of Presentations At Analyst And Investor Meeting Oct. 4

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 28, 2007 – American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) has scheduled a live audio webcast of management presentations at the company’s Analyst and Investor Meeting Oct. 4 in New York.

Michael G. Morris, AEP chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Holly Koeppel, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will address AEP’s strategic direction and financial outlook, including earnings guidance. The presentations will begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT.

The webcast can be accessed through the Internet at http://www.aep.com/go/webcast and also will be available after the live event.
